Introduction of Automatic Membrane Filter Dispenser

The Automatic Membrane Dispenser is highly precise and efficient. It is suitable for various membrane filters, making it ideal for sterile filtration processes in laboratories and industrial settings. Equipped with a built-in rechargeable lithium battery, it is portable and meets the needs of various scenarios. It can be used with Hawach and Millipore continuous-packed sterile membrane filters. Hawach supplies the MCE gridded membrane filter in both continuous and individual packs.

User Guide of HAWACH Membrane Dispenser

• Preparation: Open the membrane filter package box and place it in the dispenser.
• Packaging Alignment: Position the transparent packaging bag facing upwards. Thread it through the gap between the platform and the fixing rod, then secure it on the upper driven shaft using a clip.
• Manual Separation: Rotate the upper driven shaft manually to separate a small section of the transparent packaging bag.
  Tightening and Securing: Slightly tighten the packaging bag, curl it as shown in the diagram, and secure it with clips.
• Operation: Activate the dispenser using the gesture sensor. Observe the operation (no filter membrane is dispensed during the first cycle). After the second induction, half of the filter membrane will appear at the output platform, ready for removal with tweezers.
• Post-Use: After use, remove the upper and lower clamps, take out the pressure plate, and discard the packaging bag wrapped around the driven shaft.

Usage Notes

• Placement: Always place the dispenser on a flat and stable work surface.
• Chemical Exposure: Avoid exposing the device to chemical disinfectants. If used in a sterile room, place it inside a sealed cover or remove it after disinfection to prevent corrosion.
• Moisture Control: Keep the dispenser and filter membranes dry to avoid performance issues.
• Single Membrane Removal: Remove filter membranes one at a time to ensure accurate test results.
• Handle Positioning: If the handle does not reset after one press, press it twice to complete the positioning. Failure to do so may prevent the driving shaft from functioning.
• Liquid Avoidance: Prevent liquids from entering the device to avoid corrosion and maintain optimal performance.

Maintenance

• Regularly wipe the surface to keep it clean and free from dust or contaminants.
• No additional servicing is required under normal operating conditions.
