Description

Hawach Multi-Purpose Racks – Designed for Benches That Never Have Enough Space

We designed these racks for benches that never seem to have enough space—and for labs where 50 mL tubes and 0.5 mL tubes seem to migrate everywhere overnight.

Most labs end up with five different racks for five different tube sizes. They don’t stack well, take up space, and someone always reorganizes them differently.

Hawach multi-purpose racks solve that mess. One rack handles multiple tube sizes. Some versions let you detach sections. They stack in the fridge and don’t crack after a few autoclave cycles.

What Usually Goes Wrong (And How This Helps)

The messy reality

  • Different tube sizes = different racks = bench clutter
  • Racks don’t stack = wasted fridge space
  • Fixed well patterns never match your actual daily mix
  • Racks crack or turn yellow after chemical spills

What this system does differently

  • One rack for multiple sizes -fewer things on your bench
  • Detachable sections -use half, store the other
  • Stackable design -fits in cold rooms and refrigerators
  • Chemical-resistant PP -survives routine ethanol and buffer spills

Product Details – Three Racks, Three Personalities

SKU 11321001 – The Dual-Mode Rack (0.5 mL or 50 mL)

This rack has two personalities. Use it for 32 x 0.5 mL tubes. Or flip your layout and use it for 4 x 50 mL tubes. Not both at the same time – switching takes about five seconds.

  • 32 x 0.5 mL OR 4 x 50 mL
  • Virgin PP, autoclavable (121°C, 20 min, ≤5 cycles)
  • 50 pcs / carton

Best use: PCR-heavy labs that occasionally spin down 50 mL preps. A stackable PP tube rack for molecular biology labs that covers both sizes without eating bench space.

Try this rack in your lab – request 1-2 sample units before bulk order.

SKU 11321002 – The Detachable Workhorse (15 mL + 50 mL)

Two separate sections snap together. One side holds 30 x 15 mL tubes. The other holds 20 x 50 mL tubes. Use them combined or detach the half you don’t need.

  • 30 x 15 mL + 20 x 50 mL (detachable)
  • Virgin PP, autoclavable
  • 50 pcs / carton

Best use: Clinical labs or QC labs processing both 15 mL and 50 mL samples daily. This detachable lab tube rack lets you detach the 50 mL side on slow days to reclaim bench space.

Try this rack in your lab – request 1-2 sample units before bulk order.

SKU 11321003 – The Compact Detachable (15 mL + 50 mL)

Same detachable idea as 11321002, but smaller. Holds 18 x 15 mL tubes and 10 x 50 mL tubes. Perfect when bench space is a premium.

  • 18 x 15 mL + 10 x 50 mL (detachable)
  • Virgin PP, autoclavable
  • 100 pcs / carton

Best use: Teaching labs, smaller biotech benches, or anyone who doesn’t need full capacity but still wants detachable flexibility.

Try this rack in your lab – request 1-2 sample units before bulk order.

Material & Durability

  • Injection-molded virgin polypropylene (PP)
  • Autoclavable: 121°C, 20 minutes, up to 5 cycles -no warping or cracking
  • Chemical resistant: ethanol, isopropanol, mild acids, common lab buffers
  • Stacking: flat top with feet; stable at 4°C and -20°C
  • Note on -80°C: PP becomes brittle. Brief use is fine, long-term stacking is not recommended

Application Scenarios

  • Molecular biology / PCR -11321001 fits 0.5 mL tube setups on small benches
  • Clinical diagnostics -11321002 handles high volumes; detachable sections for flexible workflow
  • Pharmaceutical QC -Any rack works; autoclave between batches
  • Teaching labs -11321003 offers smaller footprint and durability
  • Cold storage organization -Stackable at 4°C or -20°C

FAQ

Can I autoclave the rack with tubes inside?

The rack is fine. Tubes are fine if capped loosely. Fully sealed tubes can deform.

How do the detachable sections work on 11321002 and 11321003?

Two pieces snap together with clips. Use combined or separate as needed.

Will the rack hold 50 mL conical tubes securely?

Yes. Standard 29 mm OD tubes fit snug but not tight.

Can I use both 0.5 mL and 50 mL tubes in 11321001 at the same time?

No. Swap configuration; takes a few seconds.

Are these stackable in a -20°C freezer?

Yes. At -80°C, PP is brittle; avoid heavy stacking.

What’s the real difference between 11321002 and 11321003?

Capacity and footprint. 11321002 = 50 tubes, 11321003 = 28 tubes. Same detachable design.

Can I get a sample before ordering a carton?

Yes. Free samples (1-2 racks per SKU) for qualified labs.
