The Installation Procedure of Diaphragm Vacuum Pump

A diaphragm vacuum pump is a kind of product with the characteristics of advanced design, high work efficiency, and long service life. It is mainly applied in the analysis of medical and pharmaceutical products, the industry of fine chemicals, biochemical pharmaceuticals, food inspection, and public security criminal detecting work. At the same time, it is a kind of auxiliary product of the precision chromatograph, which is one of the necessary equipment in the laboratory.

When referring to the installation procedure of a diaphragm vacuum pump,

1.  The diaphragm vacuum pump should be installed on solid and strong ground, with ample room around which is convenient for check, maintenance, and upkeep.

2. The base of the diaphragm vacuum pump should keep the foundation level. It is recommended to pad shock-absorbing rubber at the four corners of the base or install it with bolts to ensure that the diaphragm vacuum pump runs smoothly and has little vibration.

3. For small diaphragm vacuum pumps, metal pipelines can be used to connect the sealing gasket with oil-resistant rubber. For small diaphragm vacuum pumps, vacuum rubber hoses can be used for the connection. (When welding the pipeline, the welding slag in the pipeline should be removed, and the welding slag is strictly prohibited from entering the cavity of the diaphragm vacuum pump.)

4. When connecting the tube, the users can install the valve and vacuum gauge above the air inlet, so that they can check the margin pressure of the pump at any time.

5. Connect the power supply according to the regulations on the motor label, install the ground wire, and install a fuse and thermal relay of appropriate specifications.

6. When the diaphragm vacuum pump is energized for trial operation, the motor belt must be removed to confirm that the diaphragm vacuum pump turns in the specified direction before it can be put into use, so as to prevent the diaphragm vacuum pump from reversing and spraying oil.

7. As for the diaphragm vacuum pump with cooling water, the water should be switched on in accordance with the regulation.

8. If a solenoid valve is installed at the diaphragm vacuum pump port, the valve and the diaphragm vacuum pump should act simultaneously.

9. When the exhaust gas from the diaphragm vacuum pump affects the working environment, a pipe can be installed at the exhaust port to lead away or an oil mist filter can be installed.
