Learn About 96-Well Plates for PCR Experiments in Three Minutes
PCR plate
As a disposable consumable in the laboratory, PCR plate is widely used in the fields of genetics, biochemistry, immunity, medicine, etc. It is not only used in basic research such as gene isolation, cloning, and nucleic acid sequence analysis, but also in the diagnosis of diseases or any place with DNA and RNA.
HAWACH manufactures laboratory consumables and PCR consumables, which can replace the original consumables of instruments, are cost-effective, have stable quality, and can save experimental costs for users. It can be used for PCR laboratories of hospital laboratories, central laboratories, liver disease centers; third-party testing institutions, scientific research institutes, colleges and universities, pharmaceutical factories, reagent manufacturers, CDC, inspection, and quarantine. In HAWACH, there are 96-well plates and 384-well plates available. Today, we focus on the 96-well plate.
96-well plates
The 96-well plate used in the PCR experiment needs to pay attention to the biological uniformity when doing the inoculation test. First, inoculate a well to see if the protein concentration is appropriate. If it is appropriate, connect the next well. However, it should be noted that every time a few wells are connected, the culture bottle should be shaken appropriately to make it evenly distributed as much as possible. Do not start to end, the culture bottle in your hand will not move, it will sink.
Like ordinary cell culture, please pay attention to the sterility of your cells, culture medium, and utensils when using 96-well plates, especially pay attention to the direction of airflow during operation, and do not move items and hands that may carry bacteria in the upper wind. Be careful not to use a pressure sterilizer.
When using this product for the inoculation test, there are two kinds of uniformity of the plate, one is the uniformity between the holes, and the other is the uniformity within the hole. In order to achieve uniformity between wells, it is recommended to use a multi-channel pipette (some people call it a row gun), with the corresponding sample addition tank. There is no secret to uniformity in the well, the experience is that the cell suspension should not be shaken or tapped after adding, but put directly into the incubator to allow it to adhere itself.

Features of 96-well plates
What are the advantages and characteristics of 96-well plates for PCR experiments? HAWACH will discuss it in the following.
1. Made of high-quality medical-grade polypropylene (PP) material, it is not deformed and has good sealing performance.
2. Operating temperature range: -20°C to 100°C;
3. The cover design with high light transmittance and uniformity can be used for real-time fluorescence quantitative experiments (qPCR);
4. Suitable for conventional brands and models of PCR instruments; 0.1ml white orifice plate, shortens the optical path and has higher sensitivity and accuracy.
5. Ultra-thin wall design, rapid and uniform heat conduction; higher mechanical strength than non-skirted boards, reducing evaporation and uneven signal acquisition caused by deformation in the reaction.
6. The horizontal and vertical coordinates of the injection molding are easy to identify the sample;
7. The flat board surface and the hollow surrounding convex design are convenient for the adsorption of heat-resistant film and ensure the sealing;
8. The semi-skirt design has a stable structure, and the no-skirt design is easy to cut;
9. Different colors are available; reduce the number of reagents and save costs.
The 96-well plate for the PCR experiment is a disposable consumable in the laboratory. It is not only used for basic research such as gene isolation, cloning, and nucleic acid sequence analysis, but also for disease diagnosis or Anywhere there is DNA or RNA.
